Region 8 ESC will host an event for parents of emergent bilingual students on October 10.  

Providing parent, family, and community engagement events are an important part of the requirements for schools receiving Title III, Part A funds (see below).

You can fulfill one part of this requirement by printing the attached flyer and sending it home to families of EBs as well as posting it at the front desk of your campuses.

The FREE Parent Watch Party will be in English and Spanish and includes information from TEA, lunch, resources for parents to help their students, and $25.00 transportation reimbursement.
