Dear parents of 6^th grade students,

All students entering the 7^th grade must have:

1. TDAP booster
2. Varicella- 2 doses
3. Meningococcal- 1 dose

This is a state requirement and is necessary for all 7^th graders.

If you do not have a family doctor, the Texas Department of State Services offers immunizations at their office, 1400 College St. For additional information call them at 903-885-6573. A parent or guardian must accompany the child and bring a copy of their shot record. If you need a copy of their shot record, I’ll be happy to share what I have.

You may get these immunizations now, please do not wait until school is about to start. Every year the clinics run out of vaccine and it is difficult to get your child fully immunized.
