Returning (Current) Student Registration

 

This process is intended for our annual returning students who attended Sulphur Springs ISD schools during the 2024-2025 school year- this includes students who have previously withdrawn and are now returning to the district. 

To begin registration, please visit our Family Access (opens a new window) page or access the Family Access Login  screen. If you do not remember your login information, please attempt to recover your login/password using the Forgot your Login/Password link.

Proof of Residency Requirements

 

All student's in SSISD will be required to show proof of residency. The student's proof of residency and information must be verified before the student's registration is approved. 

Listed below are the types of documents we will require proof of residence based on your living situation: 

  • Parent or guardian's driver's license or government issued identification 

Living Situation: 

  • You LIVE in a home YOU OWN within Sulphur Springs ISD Boundaries
  •   You must provide a current electric bill for that home (We only accept the electricity bill) 
  •   If you have not received your electric bill please provide your Deed of Trust (received at closing) along with  your electric set-up letter. 
  • You RENT a home within Sulphur Springs ISD boundaries
  • please provide your lease AND a current electric bill in your name
  •   If the electric bill is not in your name, we will need your lease AND the most recent electric bill in your  landlord's name
  • You AND your student are LIVING WITH A FAMILY that resides within Sulphur Springs ISD boundaries
  •   You must contact Mikki Daniel (mdaniel@ssisd.net) at the Administration Building regarding a Host Home Application

 Students may not be enrolled in the district if they do not provide proof of residence in the Sulphur Springs ISD. Failure to provide adequate information may result in removal of students and may subject parents/guardians to payments of costs of educational services.

Q: My child or children have not attended SSISD. What's next?

A: Please use the New to District Enrollment procedure to create an account and create a student application. Parents with existing children at the district can log into Family Access to select the New Student Enrollment tab to add a new student application.

Q: My child or children have attended SSISD. What's next?
A: If your child has attended, left the district, and is now returning to SSISD, please log into your Family Access account and select the 2024-2025 Returning Registration Verification tab to begin the process for verification of a child for the current school year. If you have a child currently attending  SSISD, who will be returning to the district for the future school year, please log into your Family Access account and select the 2025-2026 Returning Registration Verification tab to begin the registration process.

Q: I have children who currently attend SSISD but I'd like to enroll a NEW student as well. What's next?
A: Access your Family Access account to enroll your student who has previously attend SSISD. When you have completed the returning student registration please log out of Family Access. At the login screen choose the "NEW STUDENT Online Enrollment" option from the login area at the bottom of the page. You will use your existing Family Access login and password.

For Students Who Previously Attended SSISD and are Now Returning

For students who have previously attended SSISD and left the district but are now returning to attend school in SSISD for the remainder of this school year, please recover and access your existing Family Access account. Proceed to select the 2022-2023 Returning Registration Verification tab in the upper-left corner of your screen and select your child's name to begin the process of verification for the current year if your child will be returning for the existing school year.

For students returning for the future year, be certain to select 2023-2024 Returning Registration Verification tab. Colors have been added to assist you with distinguishing which option to choose. Blue is for the current year and Green is for future year registration. In addition to the tab, students returning for the future school year will also see a link available to verify data located on the Family Access wall.

NOTE: You must complete Returning Student Verification for each student re-enrolling in SSISD.

For Students Who are New to SSISD
