Craig Roberts has been a resident of Sulphur Springs for 25 years. He works as a banker and has
served on several boards in the community. Craig and his wife, Ann Kirkpatrick Roberts, are
proud parents of four children: Jesse (Class of 2014), Matthew and Mark (Class of 2018), and
Hannah (Class of 2020). Although he did not attend SSISD himself, he is committed to
supporting the district, which he describes as the heartbeat of the community, and he serves to
help students grow and succeed.

Leesa Toliver has dedicated more than 30 years to education, serving as a teacher, educational
diagnostician, special education director, and elementary principal before retiring from Sulphur
Springs ISD. She has served as a trustee for 13 years and continues to volunteer in several
community organizations. Leesa and her husband have four grandchildren who attend SSISD,
and she is proud to support the district that has become home. Her lifelong passion for education
and service continues to inspire her work as a board member.

Adam Teer was elected to the SSISD Board of Trustees in 2023. He works as a Permanency
Specialist with 4Kids4Families and is actively involved in the community as an elder at Seymore
Church of Christ and a member of the Sulphur Springs Lions Club. Adam and his wife are proud
parents of four children, all of whom are current students or graduates of SSISD.

Kati Adair is a 2006 graduate of Sulphur Springs ISD. She and her husband, a 2005 SSISD
graduate, are proud parents of two boys—one current Wildcat and one future Wildcat. Kati
taught at Bowie Elementary for six years before becoming a broker associate with Janet Martin
Realty. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a master’s degree in
Educational Leadership, both from Texas A&M University–Commerce.

John Campbell was elected to the SSISD Board of Trustees in 2025. A lifelong resident of
Sulphur Springs and a 1999 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, he has worked at Alliance

Bank since 2003 and currently serves as Vice President. John and his wife, Sharla, have been
married for 18 years and have two children attending SSISD. He is a deacon at Union Baptist
Church and has been a member of the Sulphur Springs Lions Club since 2005.

Brian Kelly is a 1995 graduate of Sulphur Springs ISD and a lifelong resident of the community.
His wife, Talea, is also an SSISD graduate from the Class of 1999. Together they have three
daughters: Jazmine (Class of 2023), Jayla (Class of 2023), and Jamisyn (Class of 2035). Brian
works as an Area Supervisor with McDonald’s (Retzer Group) and is an active member of
Columbia Lodge #81. He serves on the board to give back to the district that prepared him for
success and believes every student deserves a quality education.

Darla Reed joined the SSISD Board of Trustees in 2023. Both she and her husband, Scotty, are
proud Sulphur Springs graduates. They have two children in the district: Jackson, a senior at
Sulphur Springs High School, and Marley, an 8th grader at Sulphur Springs Middle School. The
Reeds enjoy supporting their children in their activities, from Jackson’s involvement in the
Wildcat Band, FFA, and Ag Mechanics to Marley’s participation in volleyball and softball. Darla
is proud to serve the district and support the next generation of Wildcats.
