Welcome to the School Nurse's Office!

Pupose:

  1. To advance student, staff, and community health and welfare
  2. To provide assistance with any barrier that may hinder students' learning

Duties:

  1. Health Counseling
  2. Screening
    • Vision
    • Hearing
    • Spinal
  3. Prevention & Control of Communicable Disease
    • Immunization
    • Exclusion of students who have communicable diseases
  4. Providing emergency care
  5. Referrals and follow-ups
  6. Maintaining health records

Special Announcement:

School nurses DO NOT provide over-the-counter medicine for our students. Any medicine a student may require during the school day must be provided by the parent or guardian and kept in the nurse's office.
