The SSHS UIL Academic Team competed at the UIL Region 2-4A Academic on Saturday, April 22 and finished 1st place overall with 329.5 points. Lindale followed in 2nd Place with 195 points, and Dallas Science and Engineering Magnet finished 3rd with 156 points. Twenty one SSHS students earned 37 medals in 13 events. Twenty one SSHS students will represent SSHS at the State UIL Academic meet on May 16 - May 18!
