I graduated from Miller Grove High School in 1989 and from Texas A&M-Commerce in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I have taught for the past 13 years in Greenville, Rockwall, Quinlan, and now Sulphur Springs High School.

I am married with two children. My little boy just turned two on September 13, and my daughter is attending East Texas Baptist University. I live in Miller Grove where we have 15 acres of land, four quarter horses, two dogs, and one cat.

I believe that every student is capable of learning and discovering new things about life and themselves. My goal is to provide a learning environment in the classroom where each student is treated with respect and with an expectation that they will succeed.

It was not meant that every person

Should rise to leadership--

Not every person can build a bridge

Or into stardom slip

You might not be an executive

Or even own a store--

But you can be the finest self

And strive for something more.

If we can't be a blazing sun,

Perhaps we can be star.

At least each one can try

to be the best--whatever we are!
